Athena Integrated Behavioral health is considered in-network with many of the major insurance carriers

Health insurance can be confusing and frustrating. In-network versus Out-of-network. PPO versus HMO. Co-Pay versus High Deductible Healthcare Plan. It is important to have a solid comprehension of your insurance plan and coverage. Coverage for mental health visits will vary depending on your insurance payer and your specific plan.

Similar to your primary care provider's office, Athena Integrated Behavioral Health will bill your insurance company based on the level of service provided at the visit.

  • A valid driver’s license or identification card is required at each visit.

  • A current copy of the insurance card is required at each visit in order to be submitted to your insurance.

  • all Non-Medicaid patients are required to complete Credit Card form for patient responsibility after claim processing

  • Copay's are due date of service.

  • If you are out of network, a superbill we be provided for you to submit for reimbursement.

  • For patients with financial responsibility after the claim has been completed by insurance and your credit card has been run, you will receive your paid invoice via email as your receipt.

It is the patient or parent/guardian’s responsibility to understand their insurance coverage.  Any questions specific to your insurance plan should be directed to your insurance payer.
